PCL Names Express Pitching Pair to All-Stars
The PCL announced Wednesday that Round Rock pitchers Bud Norris and Yorman Bazardo have been elected to represent the PCL All-Star Team as it takes on the International League All-Stars at PGE Park in Portland on July 15. Norris leads the PCL with a 2.17 ERA and ranks first with 88 strikeouts against 44 walks. Bazardo ranks third among PCL pitchers with a 2.79 ERA and is tied for second with seven wins. [Full Story]

Round Rock Travels to Memphis
The Express heads to Memphis for the first time in 2009. The four-game series kicks off on July 4 and concludes Tuesday night. Round Rock continues its travels in Tennessee to face the Nashville Sounds in a five-game set kicking off Wednesday. The All-Star Break begins on Monday, July 13, with pitchers Bud Norris and Yorman Bazardo representing the club for the Pacific Coast League All-Star team. [Full Story]

Express Wins, Fans Win
The Express launced the 'Win/Win' promotion, which will knock $1 off the price of box seats for the dates of Aug. 5 -12 for every home game the Express wins for the month of July. Round Rock play July 1-3 plus an eight-game homestand beginning July 16. As an example, if Round Rock wins 10 of its 11 scheduled home games in July, then box seats for the August home stand would fall from $12 to $2. [Full Story]
